Originally specialising in the demanding financial print arena Folium demonstrated an ability to meet the stringent demands of this marketplace that is, high quality, immovable deadlines and complete security and confidentiality. Our close working relationships with clients and high standards meant that we were asked increasingly to become suppliers in other key areas of print including brochures, business forms and corporate stationery. So dramatic was the growth that financial print, whilst continuing to grow, soon became only a third of our overall business. We developed the business further in 1990 by establishing a separate print management division to meet growing demand from clients for a complete outsourced design and print service. This was driven by client recognition of the fact that print had become a complex and demanding area, the in-house management of which was diverting resource away from their core business. Now we have taken another major step with the creation of profilenine. It is a unique blend of our experience and the application of leading-edge technology and represents the ultimate solution for successful, cost-effective, print management. Science The science and technology of printing and reprographics has experienced revolutionary change. We have maintained our facilities and plant at the leading edge throughout our existence. In 2002 we completed a two and a half million pounds capital investment programme to equip us for our fourth decade. Service Identifying client's needs, communicating with them and managing the process is as vital as the technology itself. Anyone with money can buy equipment.
